Oh Teeko...

Oh Boy...Teeko is just asking for trouble. He came over for a sleepover and I warned him to be nice to Sassy because she is actually pretty nice. But this is Teeko we are talking about and he is so young and impulsive...Well, lets just say that he got in big trouble!

Mom had Sassy on her lap and Teeko thought he should have a little sniff...I warned him to keep his distance but he wasn't listening. He walked right over there and took a sniff and something came over him. He just felt the need to attack her. I have those urges for other dogs that come to close to my house but that's different. Sassy is part of the family now. But Teeko just didn't care. Mom wasn't happy. She put him in his "place" for a long time. Then for bed he had to sleep in his kennel. For some reason mom called it a "bat cave" but she was probably confused. Teeko wasn't too happy to be in his kennel but I told him it was his own fault. He ignored me. Someday he will learn...I hope.

This OTHER dog - Sassy

My human confuses me. She brings home this dog. We already have a dog and he is alright but this other dog...well, he has issues and is stressed all the time. Makes me uncomfortable. My human must sense this so she keeps me away from him. So this dog, they call him Teeko, calms down enough that my human brings me out so I can sit with her while she watches her television. He just stared at me the whole time. I just turned my back to him and pretended he wasn't there. Well, a few minutes later, he feels the need to come closer and take a sniff. My human was really cautious but let him sniff me. I let him as well. I guess he decided that I smelled good enough to eat because he lunged at me! He started growling and saying hurtful things. My human picked me up so fast and held him down. Then, she threw me up on my tree and made him go back to his corner. She picked me up and loved me and then locked me in the bedroom. What the hell did I do? Lock him up! She kept coming into the room to say hello. After thinking about what had happened, I felt like I had a few things to say to this Teeko myself. So every time my human tried to open the door, I tried to get out. She kept saying he would eat me but she doesn't know what I am capable of. I could take him. I never got that change though. She took him out of our house the next day and I haven't seen him since. You can bet if I ever meet this dog on the streets....He WILL be sorry.

Ill give this a try - Sassy

My name is Sassy. I run this new household with my human and her dog. This place sure beats the cage I was forced to reside in for so long. Its really thrown off my balance. Multiple times I have slipped or fallen... Its like getting used to being on land after living at sea for years. Eventually I will get the hang of it and finally be able to run through the fresh air. I have eyed my human multiple times per day when she takes out the dog and there used to be a crack I could slip through but my human must have seen me peeking through so now she closes the door all the way. But I keep trying.  Why does he keep going out anyway...I have a perfectly good litter box in the house. He can use that.

I decided to try this "Blogging" thing because the dog wouldn't stop talking about it. He said you could put pictures on and tell your stories...I don't know why anyone wants to read about his stories but I suppose some might want to hear mine. I am entirely more interesting than his. "I played ball" "Mom took me on a ride" "I got to see Pappy today"... I mean, who cares! I don't get to go anywhere but I will tell you that I have plenty going on through out my day.... Or... at least I will as soon as I figure out how to open this door. I mean, if I can navigate this computer, I should be able to open a simple door. I don't want to leave for good. I actually like my human. She pets me and talks to me all the time. I just want some freedom while she is gone all day. It gets boring. Sometimes she even takes the dog. What are they doing? I never know what they are doing??

So I will continue to tell you my more interesting stories while the dog is off doing...whatever he does. In case you are wondering why I have used this "Bold" feature...its because everything I say is important. EVERYTHING.

Another house, another dog...or two

Here is another one of those times when mom lives in someone elses house for a few days. This time we went for a LONG car ride. I love those. When we arrived there was a great big back yard! I was in heaven running around smelling all the smells! Mom went over to open a gate and there was another dog in there. Tess is what my mom called her. I think I may have met her before but I cant remember where...

Tess wasnt fond of having me in her yard at first but she quickly got over it and we ran and smelled everything out noses could touch.

Here is Tess...

Then we went inside and saw another dog. She was NOT happy to see me or my mom at all. She just sat in the other room by the window forever! My mom called her Doc. Doesnt seem like a very girly name but who am I to judge.

Here is Doc...

Eventually Doc came around and we all got along good enough except when mom called me to get on the couch. Doc wasnt having it. That was her couch and she didnt want anyone up there. I always share my stuff with Teeko so I dont know why she didnt want to share with me. Lucky for me, mom was there to help me out and she held Doc while I jumped up. Doc wasnt thrilled but let it go.

Finally time for bed! Mom was going from room to room...back and forth...I never know what takes so long. Just climb into bed and go to sleep. Humans make it so complicated.

So while she was running around the three of us decided to go to bed without her. She came in the room and started laughing and taking pictures. I dont know why its so funny that we wanted to go to bed.

Here is the what she saw...

We were there for a long time. Mom went to work and just left me there. Usually she will take me to Gram and Pappy's but she didnt this time. I dont know why. We couldnt have been that far from home.

One thing that did happen, Mom was throwing my ball for me and she threw it so far that it went in the water behind the house. I wasn't thrilled about getting in the water but I had to get that ball. Mom always makes me when she throws it in water so I just beat her to it. But then she confused me...again. She told me to get out of the water and to not worry about the ball. Cant she just make up her mind. Get the ball.....don't get the ball. I never know what she wants me to do. So we lost a ball but lucky for me, we had a spare. So mom played with me longer but was careful not to throw it as far.

After all the fun and games, we finally get home and Sassy is there and things got back to normal. I like it that way.

Teeko vs Sassy

Here is Teeko...
Good ol Teeko.

This is a picture of him looking at Sassy. Correction....obsessing over Sassy. He wants to get close to her but he is too excited. I keep telling him that his excitement is going to get him killed one day but he never listens.
He gets right up to Sassy and she bolts. Then he runs. Now they cant play. Maybe someday they can be distant friends like Sassy and I are. She is a hell of a lot nicer than Zero. He has become a real ass hole. Always hissing at me and saying mean things like I smell like a stray cat...hmmm...maybe he is smelling Sassy. I hope they never have to live together or that will be one bad day!

The Bed

Each night before we head to bed, mom makes me get on the bed when Sassy is already up there. Sometimes she stands right in the way. I think she does it on purpose. Mom makes me come up and the other day I accidentally stepped on her tail. She was NOT a happy camper. But she forgives pretty easily so we were back to being distant friends again in no time.

Mom got her camera out and starting snapping some pictures.
Here is us on the bed. This is as close as we get.

Here is Sassy sitting on her cat tree in the sun. Cant see much of her tree though. I don't know why mom takes pictures so close up.

Next was my turn...Again with the close ups. Oh well. I was sitting in the sun too. Then she made me get up to take a picture. Good thing I love her!
