Zero and his moods

My mom and I go and visit Grandma and Pappy all the time. Its pretty awesome. A few times Zero will come up and clean me up. Its nice to know i'm missed. A few times though he gets all crazy/moody and yells at me and is just plain crazy. I just mind my own business most of the time. He has been a ton better though. Until...

So this one night, my mom and I were visiting again and she seems to think that Zero likes her to hold him. Believe me...this is the LAST thing he wants. But she insists on picking him up anyway. Well, this particular night, he had had enough. She went to move his foot and he freaked out and bit her and then yelled at her. Boy was he mad. So she said a few choice words to him and let him get down. Well then, he proceeded to walk right over to me (where I was minding my own business on my pillow) and yelled and slapped me! WTF did I do? Cats are so touchy!

This NEVER happens! When it does, I take full advantage myself with a little nap. 

Pictures

I have had lots and LOTS of practice posing for pictures for my mom. She has been taking my picture since I was 12 weeks old! Now that I am ten, I think I am pretty much a pro. I look into the camera without being told and always look handsome as ever!

This past Christmas was no exception on picture taking. I even wore the Santa hat for the picture. This year, however, my mom felt that Teeko needed to have a picture with the hat...Now, Teeko hasn't had as many experiences with picture taking as I have so he hasn't quite gotten it down. 

This is his first picture after many attempts of trying to get him to just stay still long enough to snap the picture.

He looks a little....STRESSED! And he isn't even smiling. I mean really, you have to smile. 

So they tried it again and I told him that if he would just smile they would leave him alone. 

He did a little better but still looks a little freaked out. With practice he will look almost as good as I do!

Snooze Button

Typical morning...

Mom hears her loud obnoxious sound that goes off early in the morning. She jumps out of bed. Time to wake up I think. So I jump off the bed and get ready to get breakfast since I am starving. But whats this?? Mom turns off the sound and goes back to bed. Isn't this noise supposed to wake you up for the day instead of for 2 minutes? Maybe for some people, but not my mom. She goes back to bed and starts snoozing away. Then another sound comes from a phone...she again turns it off and goes back to sleep. I wait patiently at the door because I know eventually she will open the door and feed me! 

Well, this morning I was sure she was never getting up. She just kept turning off the sounds from two different places. I finally gave up and went back to bed. THEN and only then, does she decide to get up and feed me. I just don't understand. Why doesn't she just get up the first time it goes off? Ill never understand humans.
