Thunder!

So last night was horrible! There was a huge thunderstorm! All loud and crashy! It was terrible. I am certain the lightning is going to come straight through the walls and get me! My mom kept trying to hide me under the blankets. Doesn't she know that lightning can get me through there. The only place I am safe is in Charles room. But she keeps the dang door closed! So I was forced to sleep on the floor as close to the bed as I could get. Then, after about 45 minutes, I started to get really sleepy and forgot all about the thunder. Now that I think of it, Mom did put something in my mouth before we went to bed. I wonder what that was...
